Design and Build
The tablet uses a metal body and keeps a clean, minimal look. At 450 g, it is not ultra-light, but the chassis feels solid and practical for daily handling. The rear side includes a plastic insert for signal reception, while the front is mostly occupied by the display.
Display, Audio, and Cameras
The 10.1-inch IPS panel with 1920x1200 resolution gives a clear image for movies, reading, and browsing. The review notes good color reproduction and enough brightness for comfortable indoor use. The tablet has two speakers, delivering decent volume for media. Camera setup is basic: a 2 MP front camera and a 5 MP rear camera, suitable for calls and simple snapshots.
Performance in Daily Use
With Kirin 710A, 2 GB RAM, and Mali-G51 graphics, MatePad T10s is built for light workloads rather than heavy multitasking. It handles routine tasks such as web surfing, text work, and video playback. Internal storage is 32 GB, so users with larger media libraries will likely rely on microSD expansion.
Ports and Connectivity
Physical connections include USB Type-C, a combo audio jack, and a microSD slot. The tray also supports Nano-SIM, which is useful when Wi-Fi is not available. Wireless options include dual-band Wi-Fi standards, Bluetooth 5.0, and LTE mobile data.
Battery
The tablet is equipped with a 5100 mAh battery. In the source test notes, battery life reached more than 5 hours in gaming scenarios and about 12 hours in video playback, which is appropriate for a budget media-focused device.
Verdict
Huawei MatePad T10s focuses on core tablet needs at a low price level. Its main strengths are the solid metal build, sharp 10.1-inch Full HD display, and LTE support. The main compromise is modest performance and memory capacity. For users who need a straightforward tablet for reading, streaming, browsing, and travel connectivity, it remains a practical option.
